If a Dataram memory board does not function properly we will issue a

Return Material Authorization number (RMA#) for the return of the

defective module(s) and express ship a repair or replacement to you at

no charge.

DRSB2000A MEMORY

INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS

Sun Blade 1000/2000 and Sun Fire 280R:

Note: Refer to your system owner’s manual for detailed instructions and be

sure to follow all static and safety precautions.

• There are a total of 8 memory slots arranged as 2 banks of 4

connectors.

• Memory is installed in groups of four identical capacity DIMMs.

• Different capacity DIMMs can co-exist in different banks (i.e. four

128MB DIMMs in bank 0 and four 1GB DIMMs in bank 1).
