equal pressure until the module snaps into place. Lock the module in the

socket by pushing up on the ejector levers until they are in their upright

position.

1. The table below reflects the only valid configurations for the ProLiant

DL380 G4. Bank A reflects DIMM slots 1A and 2A, Bank B reflects DIMM

slots 3B and 4B, & Bank C reflects DIMM slots 4C and 5C.

2. The ProLiant ML370 G4 has four banks of memory, identified as 1A and

2A, 3B and 4B, 5C and 6C, and 7D and 8D. DIMMs are installed

beginning with slots 1A and 2A. Do not skip any slots.

6. Continue to install the remaining memory modules until you have filled

the bank with two identical modules. Repeat the above steps for each

bank of memory you wish to install.

7. Reconnect the power cords and external cables, and turn on the system.

8. After you reboot, ensure the system recognizes the new memory

configuration.
